Optimus Maximus Keyboard

Writing an essay, browsing the web, or just playing games, keyboard is one of the most essential parts of any computer. It’s included to any computer set, often in the simplest version, which completely satisfy beginning users, but can get old and boring to the professionals. Russian design studio Art Lebedev introduced Optimus Maximus Keyboard, a next generation keyboard that will amaze and shock even the most experienced pros. Consisting of an 113 tiny screens, one on each and every key. Depending on what is the keyboard used for, each key changes its displayed image and function. When using any program, Photoshop, iTunes, Power Point, Word, or just a web browser, the keys can be set to show different options of the program. They can display CPU usage and temperature, memory use, tiny clock with moving hands, and even small animations. This gadget is so sophisticated that it can show full size images stretched on the entire keyboard. Optimus Maximus requires Windows XP or Vista, at least 20 MB of free disk space and 256 MB of RAM to operate. The performance and look of this keyboard is just unbelievable, and although it costs a lot, about $1,600, its worth every cent of that price.
